Challenge War gives competitors more control over the rules and participants of a competition. If you create a challenge, you control the rules. Challenge can be whatever you want, however you're not guaranteed an opponent.

Pro War is the main event at Guitar War. It is the ultimate championship that showcases "the whole package:" composition, creativity, sound production and overall technique of the main instrument. Only Arena Division competitors may compete.

Fun War competition is designed as a safe starting place for beginners, people working on their second instrument and people with rusty skills. Fun War is identical to Challenge, except the outcome does not affect either competitor's stats.

Championship War is a king of the hill style competition to find the best player in each division, and the best practitioner of each featured technique: Sweep Picking, Tapping, Slide, Slapping, Classical, and modern Fingerstyle.
